.nl	Netherlands	1 Years	Intended for Web sites designed for viewing from a mobile device.
.it	Italy	1 Year	Registrants must reside within the European Union. Individuals may register 1 domain name. Companies can register multiple domain names but must supply a tax registration number. The .it registry requires that you complete and sign a document and return it, by fax, within 10 days before your registration request is completed. After registering for your .it domain, you will be sent an email from our registration partner, GRS, with the required documents and further instructions.
.fm	Federal States of Micronesia	1 Year	Unrestricted. Also used to identify domains related to FM radio.

The various stages in the life cycle of a domain name can be confusing and vary depending on the TLD. The following is the basic life cycle stages for .com, .net and .org domain names:

Stage	Summary
Active (1-10 years)	After purchasing a domain, it will be active for 1 to 10 years, depending on the length of the registration term purchased.
On Hold (1-45 days)	When the registrant does not renew their domain name, it will be put on hold for a period of 1-45 days before a delete command is issued. If you have a Web site for your domain name, it may no longer operate during this period. The original registrant can still renew their domain name during this period.
Redemption Grace Period (30 days)	After the hold period, the domain will be put into a redemption grace period (RGP) by the registry. During this time your Web site will no longer operate. The original registrant can renew their domain name for a redemption fee.
Pending Delete Period (5 days)	After the registry issues the delete command, the domain goes into the pending delete period, just before it's released to the general public.
Available	Once the deletion process completes, the domain name is released to the general public for registration.
